What makes Stoned Bikinis different?

Stoned Bikinis creates individually handcrafted competition bikinis designed as pieces of wearable art.

Each suit is carefully embellished by hand with thousands of rhinestones, with an emphasis on intricate design, luxury coverage and maximum stage impact.

Are Stoned Bikinis suits handmade?

Yes. Every piece is individually handcrafted and embellished by hand.

Because of this, small variations in stone placement and finishing may occur between pieces. These variations are part of the character of a handmade garment.

Buying a suit

Are the suits ready to wear?

Some pieces are available as completed, ready-to-wear suits in the size shown on the product page.

Each ready-to-wear piece will clearly display its available size and relevant fit information.

Can I order a different size?

Yes, potentially.

If you love a particular Stoned Bikinis design but require a different size, contact us to discuss having the design recreated to order.

Made-to-order recreations are subject to material availability and production capacity.

Will a recreated design look exactly like the original?

The signature design and colour story will be maintained, but each piece is individually handcrafted.

This means there may be small differences in stone placement, density or other finishing details.

Your piece will be uniquely yours.

Can I request a custom design?

Stoned Bikinis may offer custom design work depending on availability and the scope of the project.

If you have an idea for a competition piece, contact us to discuss your vision.

Sizing & fit

How do I know what size I need?

Each product page provides sizing information specific to that piece.

We may also request measurements, including your hip measurement, to help ensure the best possible fit for the bottom.

If you're unsure about your size, please contact us before purchasing.

What if I fall between sizes?

Competition bikini sizing can be more nuanced than simply choosing your usual clothing size.

We can discuss sister sizing and measurements with you to determine the most appropriate option.

Can padding be added?

Padding may be available depending on the piece and the fit required.

If you would like padding or have a particular fit preference, please contact us before ordering so we can discuss your options.

Can you help me with fitting?

Absolutely.

We can provide guidance based on the measurements and information you provide.

For the best result, please be honest and accurate when providing measurements and let us know about any fit concerns before your order is confirmed.

Made-to-order

How long does a made-to-order suit take?

Production time depends on the design, embellishment requirements, materials and our current workload.

We will provide an estimated production timeframe before confirming a made-to-order order.

The production timeframe is separate from shipping time.

Can I cancel a made-to-order suit?

Once production has commenced, made-to-order pieces generally cannot be cancelled because of a change of mind.

If you need to make a change to an order, contact us as soon as possible.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected.

Returns & refunds

Do you accept returns?

We do not generally accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

This is because our competition bikinis are highly specialised, individually handcrafted garments.

We strongly encourage you to contact us before purchasing if you have questions about sizing, fit or design.

What if my suit has a fault?

If you believe your piece is faulty, damaged, significantly different from its description or otherwise does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Shipping

Do you ship within Australia?

Yes.

We currently offer complimentary Australia-wide shipping.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes.

International shipping is currently AU$60 per order.

Our estimated international delivery time is 7–14 business days after dispatch, although customs and carrier delays can affect delivery times.

Will I have to pay customs or import charges?

Possibly.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, GST, tariffs or other charges imposed by their destination country.

These charges are outside the control of Stoned Bikinis.

Caring for your suit

How should I clean my bikini?

Spot clean where possible using a clean, slightly damp microfibre cloth.

Do not machine wash or soak your suit.

Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, abrasive cleaners and excessive rubbing over rhinestones.

What if I lose a rhinestone?

Don't panic.

Your stage kit includes a small vial of spare rhinestones for minor mishaps.

Keep any loose stone you find and contact us if you need advice about a repair.

Avoid pulling at surrounding stones or attempting a repair with unsuitable adhesive.

Can I use tanning products with my suit?

Yes, but care should be taken.

Competition tanning products can transfer onto fabric and embellishments. Allow your tan to dry and set before putting on your suit where possible.

After competition, gently clean any visible residue following the instructions in our Care Guide.
